Meet Kirsty Ussher
Hello! I’m Kirsty and I wasn’t always a successful wedding expert.
To be honest, I had never even considered working in the wedding space up until a few years ago. For over 22 years I was a passionate teacher and leader of Physical Education, Health and Outdoor Education. But a family move to Wānaka for a more outdoorsy, adventurous and community-centric lifestyle created change for me. It presented the perfect opportunity for me to take a personal and professional risk.
I had the chance to be bold and find a new passion - and so here I am.
At the heart of my love for teaching was always the act of SERVICE.
Becoming a wedding celebrant and planner has given me this chance. Of course, it also helps that I am naturally a party person that loves to be around people. You will always find me on the dance floor at the end of the night! And all your guests will know me by name by the time the last taxi leaves.
The best weddings are all about how you FEEL when the last song of the night is over, your heels are kicked off, and the scenes of the day begin to take shape in your mind, as beautiful lifelong memories. It is this feeling and those memories that are my ultimate act of service to you.

Once you receive my pricing and offerings guide, we'll set up our Disco-very call. Like any good date, this is our chance to get to know each other. After we work out which service is right for you, we seal the deal with a contract, deposit and get the party started!
